Class Descriptions

 

Zumba® (60 mins) (
An interval-style dance fitness party that combines low-intensity and high-intensity moves. This is an aerobic cardiovascular exercise class. You'll burn lots of calories as you move to the rhythm of our class instructor's music playlist. Fear not if you're not the best dancer! *We also offer a 30/30 class, which is 30 mins of Zumba and 30 mins of sculpt. 

Cardio Sculpt (60 mins)
Cardio Sculpt includes a combination of muscle conditioning exercises. These workouts aren't high-impact; which means you won't stress your joints. In fact, a cardio sculpt workout can be completely no-impact, and yet still be highly effective at burning fat and calories! Some exercises will utilize hand weights, bands, body bars, and steps with intervals of high and low impact cardiovascular exercises for a fun, calorie-blasting workout.

Oh SH**T HIIT & Circuit  (60 mins)
High-intensity interval training (HIIT) workouts involve exerting your maximum energy during short periods of time. HIIT workouts require bursts of high-intensity strength and cardio exercises followed by brief periods of recovery. Circuits involve working your way around different exercise stations, while at each station you'll perform each exercise as many times as you can in a set amount of time. *Full Body Bootcamp classes will combine both HIIT and circuit challenges. 

 

20-20-20 (60 mins)

This class will combine 20 minutes of Cardio, 20 minutes of Weight Training, and 20 minutes of Core Conditioning. Each class routine will vary based on Instructor Choice. Some classes will incorporate Step or HIIT for the cardio portion. 



Silver Sneakers (60 mins) 

  • Classic: Focuses on strengthening muscles and increasing range of movement for daily life activities. Participants can use hand-held weights, elastic tubing with handles and a SilverSneakers ball. Often a chair is used for seated exercises or standing support

  • Cardio: Brings heart-healthy aerobics to your workout using low-impact movements. The class focuses on building upper-body and core strength with added cardio endurance

  • Yoga: Participants complete seated and standing yoga poses. This class is suitable for beginners to advanced yogis, and it provides breathing exercises and relaxation without the strain on your joints. This is not traditional yoga on a mat.

Drums Alive​ (60 mins)

 

 

Drums Alive® combines the benefits of a traditional physical fitness program with the brain affected benefits of music and rhythm. You will use an exercise ball and drum sticks to beat to along to the music. This program fosters a healthy balance physically, mentally, emotionally and socially! Many of our Silver Sneaker members love this class, but all are welcome to join in on the fun. 

Cycle & Spin Classes (60 mins)

Pedal & Pump OR Cycle & Burn:  Indoor cycling class that combines cardio and strength in each session and challenges you to take your workout to the next level. These classes will include intervals and climbs on the stationary bike, and weights and full body movements on the mat.

Spin: This is an indoor cycling only class where you'll pedal to the beat of the music, complete intervals, and increase tension for a well rounded cardio workout.

 

Cardio Kickboxing (60 mins)

Newest class to our schedule. It's a non-competitive, aerobic fitness exercise that incorporates kickboxing techniques and movements. It is a cardiovascular-focused exercise inspired by kickboxing with less impact and involves no sparring. Does not involve gloves or bags.

NOTE: Class times include set-up, warm-up, and cool downs. Regardless of you fitness level, all are welcome to our group fitness classes. Work at your own pace! Our instructors are more than happy to make modifications for alternative exercises for different levels of experience.
